Solar Products

With solar energy rising in popularity, it is no wonder that solar products are as well. The great thing about solar power is that as long as the sun is still shining, there will be harvestable energy for you to run your home, building, or devices with.

So, have you found yourself in need of some handy solar powered gadgets? Well, here are a few that you might find interesting, and you might even find yourself intrigued by some of the great ideas these inventers have thought of by using the solar technology

Solar Visor radio. Ok, this is a cool one. It is a sun visor with a solar panel on it, and it has a radio built into it. So, instead of just wasting energy and just blocking the sun, your visor will harness it and power a radio.  This works like the home solar panels but on a smaller design of course.

Solar dynamo radio with flashlight. Here is a neat device. This flashlight/radio not only has a solar panel that can be used to charge the light up, but also a dynamo you can turn if there is no sunlight available. This is one of the great solar products to have in case of emergencies.

Portable 12V refrigerator/freezer. This is an amazing device. It is pretty much the size of a large cooler, and uses solar electricity to cool your food for you! Great for emergencies, camping, or just to have around in case you go on a trip. It would also work great to put in your RV!

Solar panel with 2 AA charger. This is a sweet solar product. It is a solar panel that will charge 2 AA batteries for you while you let it set in the sunlight. It also has a 3, 6, 9, and 12 volt selection on it, so you can choose how many volts it will produce. Great for anyone who uses AA batteries, which is pretty much everyone.

Rechargeable Quartz Halogen Lantern. This halogen lantern will utilize the sun’s rays to charge up during the day, so that you can have a powerful lantern by night. Great to have on hand in case of emergencies. It would also prove economical for camping, fishing, or even hiking trips. And the fact that you will never have to buy batteries for it is a super deal!

No matter what kind of solar product you might be in the market for, you can find the one that you need. Solar power is the wave of the future, so don’t think that it is just a passing fad.  The home solor power is the new wave of the future to cut down on the use of other electrical options.

Solar Generator

A solar generator is an electricity-producing device, similar to a gasoline or diesel powered generator, although it uses the energy of the sun to power the devices attached to it.

A solar generator is a great alternative to generators that use expensive fuels to power tools, appliances such as the solar water heater, and even entire houses. Some are even saying that solar technology with the high-quality power backup you can get with batteries, getting round the clock power from the sun is not a problem, even at night!

Solar generators have come a long way since they were introduced. They are more efficient, more durable, easier to use, and more economical than ever before! And you can get them in about any size. Need a solar generator to power your portable stove? No problem. Do you need one to power your vacation cabinthat uses solar power systems? That isn’t a problem either, thanks to revolutionary new technology that allows the generators to build up charge during the sunny days and burn it at night, after the sun has set!  It is now easier then ever to have solar electricity.

With the way solar generators are advancing nowadays, I find it hard to believe that anyone wanting to buy a generator would not even consider solar power as an option. Gasoline and diesel are getting more and more expensive. Sunlight, however, hasn’t risen in price at all. In fact, it is now cheaper than ever to harness the power of the cosmic center of our solar system!

Another great thing about solar generators is that, since they are not attached to the ground, they require no permits, inspections, or property taxes. They don’t run out of fuel either, they are even easy to haul and they actually don’t look bad! Today’s sleek and shiny solar generators have come a long way from the bulky, in-efficient devices of the past!

So, why not at least consider solar power as an option? Actually, if you stack it up against a gasoline or diesel generator, it has a lot to offer that the other ones don’t. Why not go with the technology that keeps evolving, instead of going with an emission spraying, old fashioned machine that costs a ton to keep running? Solar power is free to use, and if you let your generator charge, you can even use the energy of the sun after dark! So look into what a solar generator can do for you, I can promise that its worth the trouble.

Solar Technology

Solar technology is paving the way for humanity to live a better life. I mean, think of the possibilities? In just a few years, solar technology has gone from new sci-fi status to a veritable, verified substitute to many other energy sources we use.

Solar technology has the potential to reshape the world of energy flow as we know itto using the solar power systems, bringing us closer and closer to a world that is powered by free energy created by the sun, all right at our disposal!

Think of how much energy is wasted every day as the sunlight strikes metal surfaces, roofs, the ground, cars, and everything else that doesn’t turn it into power. Millions of watts per day, and probably more, are wasted because we focus so much on oil, coal, gasoline, and diesel. These energy sources only serve to pollute our skies, causing haze that threatens to keep the sun ITSELF from reaching the earth’s surface. How long will it be before we learn that the sun is the key to renewable energy the likes of which we have only imagined?  The use of home solar power to produce our energy will help to protect from pulluting the world we live in.

Solar technology is the harvesting of the cleanest, cheapest, most efficient energy available to mankind. How ironic it is that men are furthering the development of nuclear power instead, the bi-products of which are the deadliest substances known to man, a pure, veritable abomination of nature, all laid at the alter of our quest for energy. How ironic is it than, that the very sunlight these nuclear power plants are built by, is actually the answer to the entire question! The questions involving renewable energy that is free, clean, and natural all find their answers in solar power engery.

Thankfully, many people have utilized this miracle of technology, and have built solar products that power homes, businesses, worksites, and various devices and machines. Thankfully, research continues every day into the possibilities that solar technology has to offer. What a shame it would be to waste such energy, such potential. How can you do your part? Do anything you can. Every dollar spent on solar technology is helping the cause built around harvesting the energy of the sun. Every appliance in your home that you switch over to being powered by a solar array helps protect our environment, and every home that becomes solely reliant upon the sun for its power takes us that much closer to completely realizing the dream that is solar technology.

Home Solar Panels

So, are you in the market for some home solar panels? Well, luckily, you won’t be disappointed. There are several solar power systems that you can utilize at home, in all kinds of styles and varieties.

One thing you need to keep in mind is exactly what the solar home will be used to power.

In general, there are three ways to shop for home solar panels. These different ways are by brand, by watt, or by type. If you choose to search by brand, than you will likely find brands like BP Solar, AEE Solar, Evergreensolar, SHARP, and Kaneka. Other brands you might run across are GE, UNI-SOLAR, Kyocera, and Mitsubishi electric. All of these are good brands, and you will likely be satisfied with whichever you choose to help use the home solar power that is just waiting for you to tap into.

If you choose to shop for your home solar panels by watt, than you will find all kinds of different wattages to choose from. Some sized wattages you might find are 1-5, 6-10, 11-20, 21-30, etc. etc. until you get to 200 watts and even greater. What wattage you will get will really depend on what the solar panel is going to be used for, so you need to take this into account before shopping for your new home solar panel. The solar technology of today allows the solar panels to be quite a bit smaller then just a few yearas ago.

There are basically three types of home solar panels when speaking in terms of searching by type, and they are flexible, portable power systems, and thin film. Usually, flexible is quite literal, as you can roll or fold most flexible solar panels. Portable is exactly such, providing portable solar power for you while on the go. Thin film is also pretty literal, as these solar panels are much thinner than your standard home solar panel.

Prices for home solar panels range from a couple dollars for an extra-tiny wattage panel to entire home-powering systems that cost many thousands of dollars. So, you can tap into the technology behind solar power no much how money you have, except you definitely won’t be able to rely solely on the sun unless you are ready to dip FAR into your wallet.

A really good place to start looking for your new home solar panels would be on the internet. There are a ton of dealers who can help you find the system you need, and it can be so easy to save money with solar that you might actually find yourself willing to spend a few extra bucks…

Solar Electricity

Solar electricity is definitely the wave of the future. Solar energy is effective, efficient, utilizes cutting edge technology, and is growing in popularity and usefulness every single day. Many people are turning to solar electricity, especially with gas prices as high as they are.

Solar power systems, both bought and self built, are saving people just like you thousands of dollars, if not more, every year. Contractors are starting to buy solar generators for their jobsites since solar energy is so much more economical than gas or diesel. There are even entire satellite arrays powered specifically by solar energy, as well as several different spacecraft.

The thing about solar electricity is that it will be available as long as the sun is. No more hauling dangerous tanks of fuel, no more digging oil and coal out of the ground, why harvest these polluting, dangerous substances when we have a safe, renewable, clean, and reliable form of energy right over our heads, day in and day out?  Home solar power is the wave of the future.

It is true that nighttime is a problem, since the sun doesn’t shine at night, but there are also answers to that. There has been a great leap in solar technology as far as batteries are concerned, so battery backup is no longer out of the question. Also, there are backup possibilities like wind and water. These are also clean, efficient means of producing electricity, and are being utilized more efficiently everyday!

Right now, oil is the single greatest tapped source of energy in the world. However, oil has several drawbacks. For one, it is bad for the environment. When oil is burnt, it emits carbon dioxide and other pollutants out into the air. It is also dangerous to gather, as spills can lay waste to environments and cause death to tons of animals, and even people. Why pursue this source of energy when we have a perfectly safe, effective source of energy right above our heads? The sun provides approximately 1000 watts per square meter per day as it shines down upon the earth. What an enormous wealth of untapped power! Solar electricity and solar products are no longer science fiction, it is definitely a reality.

Solar electricity most likely holds the key to our industrial future. Soon, most energy will most likely be generated by clean, renewable methods like the sun, air, and water. This is good news, as it ensures that we will continue to have power as long as the sun continues to shine…

Solar Water Heater

Solar water heaters are an incredibly cost effective way to heat water for your home. Some people also call them solar domestic hot water systems, and believe it or not, they might not be as hard to understand as you might think.

They can be used anywhere in the world, and the best part is that the energy they use is free!  Solar power enery can be used on a wide range from the individual objects to a large business or home solar power.

A solar water heater is made up of storage tanks and solar collectors. The storage tanks are usually well insulated, and have an additional outlet and inlet. Some systems use two tanks, while others simply use one with a backup heater. There are two types of solar water heaters, and these are active and passive systems. An active system has pumps and controls that circulate the water, while passive systems do not.

There are three types of the solar collector that are generally used for residential solar water heaters. A flat plate collector is a weatherproofed box that is insulated and contains a dark plate (absorber plate). An integral collector-storage system, also known as a batch system, has one or more black tubes or tanks that are housed in a glazed, insulated box. This system, however, should not be installed in a climate that could cause it to freeze, as this could damage the pipes and tanks. The third type is called an evacuated-tube solar collector, and is made of a parallel row or rows of glass tubes. These tubes are transparent, and each one contains a metal absorber tube that is attached to a sort of fin. The coating on this “fin” helps to absorb solar energy without radiating the heat out.

There are several types of solar water heaters, ranging from complex and expensive to cheap and simple. One thing that owners of a solar water heater will tell you is how much they save on their energy bill! Heating water and heating space inside a house are considered the two most expensive needs on our energy bill, and if the sun will take care of your water, than imagine how much you could cut your bill! Even the simplest of solar power systems warms the water before it goes through the traditional heater, so you don’t replace your regular heater, you are just sending already-warmed water through it, causing it to do less heating and you to save more money! So, why wait! Go pick up a solar water heater today!

Solar Home

A solar home has many advantages over other power and heating options. Right now, the current primary energy source in the world is oil.

However, oil has many downsides, and many believe that solar power energy, in the form of a solar home or even a solar generator, could have many benefits over the current methods we employ to power our homes, businesses, and lives.

You might ask why a solar power systems in our home is so much better than a home heated by oil and run with electricity from your average power plant? Well, there are a number of different things to think about, and while solar power might be difficult to obtain (on your checkbook anyway…) initially, it can not only save money in the long run, but has other great benefits that oil falls short of.

One example of why you would benefit more from a solar home is the fact that solar energy is renewable, and free to use. As long as the sun shines down on earth, home solar power will be free to use and easy to harvest. Oil is not renewable, takes millions of years to be created, and is being used at such an accelerated rate that we will soon deplete it.

Also, solar energy is non polluting. A solar home will not contribute to greenhouse gases and pollution to the extent that an oil powered home will. Burning oil releases carbon dioxide into the air, and obtaining oil can also lead to massive damage to the environment as spills and dredging can occur. I mean, this is our planet to take care of, why use oil when we have a choice like solar power?

Probably the biggest reason that people are not using solar power more is the fact that buying solar panels and solar powered products is rather expensive at first. However, it is a tradeoff, because using the sun’s energy is free. So, what would you rather do? Use oil, and spend more money in the long run, or use solar power to run your home and never pay another oil bill again? In fact, pay no energy bills EVER again. All the money you will spend is what is needed to purchase the solar equipment.

One of the disadvantages of a solar home is that solar energy is only available when the sun shines. However, this is really not a problem, as energy can be stored, and other means of power can be used at night, like air power.

Solar Collector

A solar collector is a device used to pull energy directly from the sun, and turn it into a more storable, usable form. Electromagnetic radiation is the energy found in the sun’s rays, and this radiation is everything from infrared to ultraviolet.

Actually, the amount of energy that is able to be collected by a solar collector depends on the weather conditions, the size of the collector, and the angle at which the sun is hitting it.  These solar products allow us to take advantage of the solar power systems to have a system for partical or complete home solar power

Speaking in general terms, the amount of energy hitting the earth on a given day with no clouds is about 1000 watts per square meter, and that is with the surface of the solar collector facing directly perpendicular to the rays of the sun.  A solar collector can be used for many different types of solar systems. It can be used with a heating system if it is hooked up to a heat transfer circuit, a storage system, and a secondary means of distribution. You might be wondering just where the best places are to mount a solar collector. Well, one of the most popular places is on a rooftop that is facing the sun. This usually means that you will mount it on a north facing roof if you live in the southern hemisphere, or on a south facing roof if you live in the northern hemisphere. The advances in solar technology now allows for every home to use some type of solar products.

The size of the solar collector array that you would put on your roof varies with the size of your house and your need for power, but generally a two to ten square meter array will heat water, and this is one of the costliest luxuries on your energy bill. Home solar panels will help to gather sun light to be converted into solo electricity

Solar collectors have truly changed the way that we think about energy. In the future, it may be home solar power that is powering our houses as opposed to coal and/or nuclear power. Solar energy is clean, safe, effective, and renewable. The only problem with solar energy is that if the sun is blocked, the energy ceases to flow. However, with backup sources available, there is no more cost effective way to harness electricity. Once you buy a solar panel, the energy you get is, in essence, free! Nuclear power is dangerous for us, and for the environment. Coal isn’t necessarily very renewable, and it is also bad for the environment. Solar energy, as it comes from a solar collector, is the wave of the future.

Solar Power Systems

Looking for a solar power system that will work for you? Well, luckily, there are several different solutions to your solar power system needs.

Looking for a system to make a complete home solar power? Not a problem. Need power for your jobsite? Well, you can definitely get those! Need solar RV power? Yes, you can even power your RV with solar electricity.

Solar power systems are the wave of the future. There are many to choose from, and many people are turning to solar power as a means to power their lives. Solar power systems might be just a little bit pricey to acquire initially, but the money you will save in the long run is well worth it! Another reason to choose solar power energy over oil, or any other power source is that solar power is non-polluting. Oil releases carbon dioxide into the air when burnt, and sometimes causes massive damage when being harvested as spills happen more and more frequently.

When deciding on a solar power system, it is important to decide which kind you want. There are basically two categories of solar power systems, and those are off-grid systems, and grid-tied systems. The difference between these two is that off grid is not attached to the power grid, while grid-tied systems feed the power grid as well as your home. You are most often compensated by the power company for this electricity, and so can even make money with a grid-tied system.

When deciding on what kind of off-grid product you want, it is important to consider your options. Some choices you have are solar power stations, solar power ready systems, solar lighting systems, solar site-built systems, specialty solar modules, RV solar power systems, and even industrial power systems. As far as grid-tied systems go, some choices you might find are home solar systems, and solar systems that can run your business. The solar technology has created many uses for the home solar energy.  Items like the solar water heater is just one example.

Solar power systems are the wave of the future. Why rely on expensive, polluting energy solutions when there is a continuous energy source right in the sky? Solar energy is an amazing feat of science. In fact, some believe that one day, the sun will be our primary source of energy. Can you believe how much you alone would save on your energy bill, much less how much the whole world would save if everyone switched to solar power? Solar power is indeed an incredible, amazing feat of science.

Solar Power Energy

Solar power energy is energy that is harvested from the solar power systems using solar energy emitted by the sun.

This energy is collected in several ways, usually through solar panels, and is then used as eight electricity, heat, or some other form of energy. Home solar panels are used to create solar electricity for either the complete or particale use in a home.

Solar power energy has many advantages over the methods that are currently used the most in our modern world. Oil, for example, is an energy source that serves as the worlds primary fuel to create gasoline, diesel, heat, electricity, and many other forms of energy. This method, however, is not very clean, safe, or efficient. And besides, oil takes millions of years to be created, and is being used up at a rate that will exhaust the supply. Oil also pollutes our planet, shooting carbon monoxide and other gases into our air, and causing damage when spills occur during drilling and transportation.

Many people take advantage of the renewable benefits of solar electrictiy by installing solar power systems in their homes. Some of these systems are off-grid, while some are grid-tied. Those with grid-tied systems not only have the opportunity to save some money on their electric bill, but sometimes receive a check from the power company instead of a bill altogether! This is because grid-tied systems feed extra electricity back onto the grid, and it is purchased by the power company. So, even though solar panels are costly at first, the money you can save or even make in the long run will more than pay for the system!

Solar power energy is getting more and more popular as time goes on. Not only is it renewable, but it is safe, clean, effective, and free. There is no fuel to purchase, very little maintenance to do on the solar panels, and it can save you a ton of money. In fact, you can even get really small solar panels that are fairly inexpensive, that can power smaller electronic devices for free. So, you actually don’t even need a lot of money to tap into the solar energy movement!

Some express concern about nighttime usage of solar power energy. This is a problem for those who rely solely on solar panels, but for those who utilize wind power or backup batteries as well, this is not a problem. Batteries are so advanced nowadays that your solar panel will charge it by day, and allow it to power your device/devices by night.  With the technology of the solar collector and the solar genterator, this is not a issue anylonger.
